The extra cost of the Sea-Gull movement is evident when comparing side by side with other watches in its class. This beauty features an ultra high grade 17 Jewel mechanical movement. The wind-up “3-Finger bridge” movement is skeletonized and also features blued screws. This intricate and highly detailed movement is visible through the dial as well as a mineral glass crystal on the back of the case. The 51 mm case is the size of many of the antique “16s” size pocket watches from Elgin, Hamilton, Illinois and Waltham.
